TERMS OF SERVICE
A] For all interviews conducted by
client, the outcome of such shall be communicated to the agency immediately.
This is to enable us to prepare an invoice in the case of a positive interview,
or arrange another interview in the case of a negative one.
If a temporary
placement becomes a permanent one the client would have to pay the remaining
agency fee, this will allow the agency to carry out their duties. Nannies on time charge a small administration fee of £30.00 for this
fee you will receive a childcare package which will contain, information and
advise on interviewing and what question’s to ask during an interview, you
will also receive an employment contract specially designed for the client
and their employee, and selection of prospective employees to interview, plus
information on nanny tax. Please note domestic staff do
not take care of children, their duties are solely cleaning duties, and we do
not recommended domestic staff to care for children.
B] Client’s are advised to bear in mind the responsibility of a
prospective employee during an interview, Vis-a Vis
the sensitivity of their duties, it should be made clear what these duties
are.
C] Client’s must satisfy themselves at the interview that the
prospective employee is capable of handling these duties.
D] Though the agency will carry out all safety checks on all
references and qualifications to as certain the character of the candidate,
once the candidate has been engaged, all responsibility shifts to the
clients. Therefore clients are advised not to engage a candidate even when
records are clear, but the client is just not sure.
E] For all engagements a follow up service will be provided. For
permanent engagement Nannies On Time provides a home visit service if client
request’s we will endeavour to visit our nannies at their place of Work. This is to ensure that both the parent and
nanny are happy with one another.
There will be an extra charge of £25 for the home visits if
the client lives more than one mile.
F] Home visits also apply to permanent and temporary au pairs working
in the UK
G] Where an engagement is for work in a foreign country, the following
rules apply:
1] The invoice must be paid within 2 days of engagement
2] The client shall be responsible for all travelling expenses to be
borne by the nanny/au pair
3] The client shall be responsible for all necessary insurance polices
needed by the nanny/ au pair
4] The nanny /au pair cannot be made to work more hours than those
agreed by all the parties during the interview
5] Where there is a need to extend the working hours, this shall be
done with the consent of the nanny/au pair, and appropriate payment shall be
made in view of extra hours.
6] There shall be no reductions of wages once the nanny/au pair
reaches the foreign country.
G] An engagement is for a term certain. Therefore, a further fee will
be charged upon re-engagement of the nanny, au pair, Parent help. Any such
decision to re-engage must be made known to the agency immediately. This will
be of immense advantage to both the client and the agency.
H] Appropriate additional fees will be charged in the event of a
variation of term employment i.e extension of any kind. There will be a
replacement where the nanny au pair, parent help decides to leave the
employment before the agreed, term the replacement shall be made within three
weeks. Replacement and refund in the circumstance will be deemed mandatory
provided.
1] Client does not make their own alternative or arrangement.
2] Client does not cancel their replacement request.
3] The agency was notified of termination within 48 hours.
4] Payment was made within 7 days invoice.
5] Replacement is not mandatory where the nanny has been engaged up to
6 weeks.
I] Considering the period worked, appropriate refund will be made
where the agency is unable to make a replacement within three weeks, as
stated in [h] above. Refund will only be made if the agency is unable to make
a replacement within the three weeks, and where the invoice was settled
within 7 days. No refund will be made for up to 6 weeks old engagements.
Absence from work due
to illness is excluded from refund.
J] The replacement period for temporary placements will be one week,
or as soon as is reasonably practicable.
K] Nannies on time cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss
of any goods disagreement or any matter resulting between client and
employee.
L] Where an invoice is not settled within 7 days, Nannies on time will
add an additional fee of £5 per day for every day the invoice remains unpaid.
M] An invoice becomes operational from the date the client decides to
accept a Nanny/Parent help Au pair, or Babysitter.
